A celebrated author with a writing career spanning over 25 years, Sandy Keigh’s writing encompasses a diverse range, from detailed technical manuals to fictional novels—fiction being her passion.
Her books are often sparked by real-life events woven into stories incorporating loving friendships, dysfunctional families, and contemptuous relationships, creating a uniquely immersive reading experience.
Although Sandy’s stories present life challenges, she approaches the topics utilizing humor, kindness, discord, and remorse, aiming toward resilience, resolution, and hope for the protagonist.
Away from her literary pursuits and professional endeavors, Sandy embraces her love for golf and languages. She delights in the challenge of the greens, and when she’s not golfing, she’s likely practicing her French and Papiamento, which she speaks with an awkwardness rivaling her golf swing.
Sandy is a citizen of the United States and Canada. She lives in the Merrimack Valley of Massachusetts. Before retiring from Harvard Business School, she taught technology to faculty and staff.
Do bad guys ever finish last?''
"The most accurately named work of fiction I've read in years. The Banke Brothers truly are Bastards. Ethan and Matt are easily two of the most ruthless, self-centered, anxiety-inducing literary antagonists I've ever had the pleasure of reading.
As the story continues, the succulent taste of karma becomes even more delicious."
"Keigh expands on the mystery elements of her previous novels to exciting results. In our world of instant gratification, her slow-burn approach to character development exacerbates the shadow of dread initially hinted at by the book's title. As if, at any moment, the hammer will come down. "Who goes missing? When? Why?" By the time those answers come into focus, the reader has a clear idea of these characters......or so we are lulled into believing.
Humor, joy, suspicion, rage, mundanities, terror, relief. All are present here. Lastly, Keigh has wisely left some of the canvas unfilled. This book is ripe for a sequel."
An illuminating novel about the complexities of sibling relationships.
"Having just finished reading "The Archives of Her Mind," I want to echo the other reviewer's sentiment, "We need a sequel." The author creates a compelling character that takes us along on her journey of acceptance. Acceptance of herself and acceptance of her family (faults and all). The author has created a character in Sophie that is relatable and pulls you into her struggle. I wanted to jump into the story and take care of her.
If you are looking for a well-written, thought-provoking novel with engaging characters, then look no further than "The Archives of Her Mind." You won't be disappointed."
